TNPL 2023 1st Game : Lyca Kovai Kings (LKK) vs IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans(ITT)
ITT won the toss and elected to bowl first. LKK lost the first 3 wickets for just 14 runs. Sai Sudharsan and U Mukilesh steady the ship with 82 runs partnership for the 4th wicket. The former continues his good form and went on to make 86 off 45 balls. Later, Shahrukh Khan played a cameo of 25 off 15 balls. LKK made 179 in the first inning.
Apart from a 37-run stand for the 2nd wicket between Raheja and Vaidhya, no big partnership was there for ITT in a run chase. They only managed to score 109 runs on the board.
Now, the next game between Salem Spartans and Chepauk Super Gillies will be played at Coimbatore on June 13.

Four venues are decided for the TNPL 2023.
SRN College Cricket Ground, Coimbatore will host the first 6 games of the tournament.
Then, NPL College Cricket Ground, Dindigul will host the next 7 games. After that, the next 8 games will be played at SCF Cricket Ground, Salem. And then, the last 7 league stage games of TNPL 2023 will be played at Indian Cement Company Ground, Tirunelveli.
TNPL Playoffs details
SCF Cricket Ground, Salem will host the first qualifier and an eliminator on July 7 and 8 respectively. While the 2nd qualifier and the final will be played at Indian Cement Company Ground, Tirunelveli on July 10 and 12 respectively.
MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai will not host the final of TNPL 2023 as the floodlights of the ground is undergoing renovations before the much-awaited ICC World Cup 2023.
