Who is Kashvee Gautam?

Kashvee Sudesh Gautam, an Indian cricketer from Chandigarh- Punjab, was born on 18th April 2003. She was introduced by her aunt to the world of cricket and the encouragement motivated her to pursue and improve her talent in the sport.

At the age of 6, Kashvee started playing gully cricket- manicured pitches on the dusty streets. Her skills were sharpened playing with the boys.

Gradually, her family members started supporting the raw talent that later transformed into a national level.

She overcame the traditional resistance after being questioned about playing a boy’s game. Later, she cut her hair short and played along with the boys to prove her spirit.

Kashvee’s talent flourished soon. As a medium pacer, she quickly rose through the levels of local cricket by representing the Chandigarh team in various age group tournaments.

Rise of Kashvee Gautam in national cricket: Remarkable achievements

At the age of 13, Kashvee made her debut for the Punjab U-19 team. This indicates her dedication and interest in the sport. Her consistent performance enhanced her skills and helped her to play first-class cricket.

Kashvee Gautam’s impressive performance at the U-19 Challenger Trophy and Zonal tournament in 2022, advanced her chances of national entry.

Kashvee grabbed the attention in the Women’s domestic U-19 tournament in 2020, representing Chandigarh.
