IPL 2023 Orange Cap Race
Ruturaj Gaikwad of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is currently in the fourth for the Orange Cap in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 with 197 runs in four games. Ruturaj scored 92 runs against Gujarat Titans on March 31 to launch his IPL 2023 campaign to a thrilling start. He followed it up by scoring 57 runs in his debut IPL match in Chennai.
Additionally, in the IPL 2023 match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday. Ruturaj Gaikwad became the fastest Indian batter to amass 3000 T20 runs.
The milestone was achieved by Ruturaj when he reached 15 runs during Mumbai’s 158-run chase against CSK. In his 91st innings, the Maharashtra player passed KL Rahul (93 innings) to become the fastest Indian to score 3000 T20I runs.
Ruturaj scored 635 runs during CSK’s championship-winning campaign. Earning him the Orange Cap for most runs in the IPL in 2021. He looks to repeat a similar feat in another season for the Chennai Super Kings.

Gaikwad gets huge praise from his old teammate

On the other hand, Gaikwad kept up his good form and guided the team to victory with a precise 40 off 36 balls, remaining unbeaten.
