Sai Sudharsan has been a revelation in the IPL 2023 just like every other youngster. He came in as an impact player after Kane Williamson got injured during the first game of the season.
Sai Sudharsan came in and played a crucial knock, helping the team to get over the line in a run chase. He also scored two half-centuries in 2nd and 3rd fixture of GT. And then comes the big stage, the final. He was outstanding with the bat and played an incredible knock of 96 runs in just 47 balls. This is now the 3rd highest score in the IPL finals history.

After Qualifier 1, Sai got the opportunity to talk to MS Dhoni. He talked to him about cricket and got some valuable tips as well.
After Sai’s conversation with MSD, he said- “I got an opportunity to speak to him for 10-15 minutes after Qualifier 1. I think we spoke a lot about cricket, and knowing more of yourself, and I think it is very useful, and I will take it going forward definitely.”

He said- “The way he reads the game, I would also like to learn a lot from him and if given an opportunity, I would like to speak to him in the future.”

Now, Sai’s full focus will be on the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL). He becomes the most expensive player in this season of TNPL. Lyca Kovai Kings bought him for INR 21.6 lakh.
