So, yeah, I’m pretty happy and excited to be back, and I hope all of the fans are too,” Kohli said in a video shared by RCB.

For the first time since a three-match Twenty20 International series against Afghanistan in January, Virat Kohli will be playing competitively again. Due to a personal break, the former captain was unable to play in the five-Test series against England. When their son Akaay was born, Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma were in London. The batting icon amassed 639 runs in the previous IPL season, including two hundred and six half-centuries.

New Colour For RCB | RCB Unveil New Jersey

At the Chinnaswamy Stadium, RCB unveiled their new jersey ahead of the Indian Premier League IPL 2024.

RCB dropped their previous red and black color scheme for the 2024 Indian Premier League. RCB will be seen this year wearing a new dark blue color to go with the red rather than black.

The blue colour has been featured on RCB’s threads before. They wore a blue jersey with thick, solitary stripes from 2011 to 2014. There are blue sleeves on their 2015 model.

For the period from 2016 to 2023, they used a red and black color scheme. It is however back to the vintage red and blue for IPL 2024.
