During the recent Cricket World Cup, Australia’s all-rounder Glenn Maxwell displayed what he can do to bowling units without footwork, and has announced that he will play his last match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after retiring from other forms of the game.

Maxwell told reporters on Wednesday, “I will play the IPL until I can’t walk anymore, so it will probably be the last tournament I ever play.”

Next, Maxwell talked about his bond with the IPL tournament and how it has benefited him greatly as a player.

Star all-rounder Glenn Maxwell of Australia discussed the influence the Indian Premier League (IPL) has had on his career, stating that being in the locker room with players like AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli can be the best learning experience imaginable.

“That’s just the best learning experience anyone could ask for,” said Glenn Maxwell.

Hopefully, many of our Aussie players will be able to work in slightly similar conditions to West Indies, where it’s a bit drier and spins,” Maxwell said.
