After divorce of Yuzvendra Chahal from his ex-wife Dhanashree Verma, a countless number of rumors continued to trend on social media. One month before, there were speculations about the former couple’s potential reunion after divorce on the reality show “The 50”.

What is ‘The 50’ Show All About?
‘The 50’ is one among those popular reality shows like Bigg Boss having premiered on 01st February 2026. As there are no fixed rules, the concept of this show features 50 contestants in a luxurious mansion where the 50-day contest will be full of surprises, twists, and strategies.
The contestants taking part involve a pool of social media influencers, celebrities, and former participants of Big Boss.
Yuzvendra Chahal About Reunion Rumors with Dhanashree
One month before the commencement of ‘The 50’, the speculations about Yuzvendra Chahal’s participation in the reality show continued to surge day by day.
However, the veteran spin bowler broke his silence and took to his Instagram stories to explain the situation:
“No! There have been no commitments or discussions about this matter”, Chahal posted.
In his next story, the 35-year-old shared a note officially released by the legaxy— the Gurgaon-based Sports Management and Entertainment Brand. Here is what the statement read:
“See! There is a lack of truth to the reports that have been speculating about Yuzvendra Chahal and his involvement in any reality show. Such claims are absolutely speculative and false.
If you observe the latest reports, Chahal wasn’t linked with any of the reality shows mentioned in recent reports. Moreover, there is no official confirmation about the commitments or discussions regarding his participation.
So, it is a kind request to all social media users and virtual media platforms to stop spreading such false information that is not at all verified,” the legacy’s statement posted on Chahal’s Instagram story.
Unlike Chahal, Dhanashree chose to remain silent and did not react to any of those rumors.
About Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree’s Divorce
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma’s married life spanned only two and a half years. The couple having married in December 2020, got separated in 2022. Later, a petition was filed for divorce in 2023.
On 20th March 2025, a divorce was finalized, legally concluding their marriage after a mutual settlement.
However, Yuzvendra paid INR 4.75 crore alimony to Dhanashree as part of their mutual divorce agreement.
The former couple, though, opened up about their personal challenges faced, but chose not to reveal the exact reason behind their divorce as they wanted to start off a fresh life.
Soon after parting ways, RJ Mahvash was rumored to be Chahal’s girlfriend, especially after she was spotted during the Indian Premier League as well as the Champions Trophy 2025.
Although Mahvash said her relationship with the Indian cricketer was nothing more than a friendship, the rumors continued to circulate.
