IPL 2025: In the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Mumbai Indians’ (MI) young talents continue to earn praise for the second time out of three games played. Earlier, the left-arm wrist spinner Vignesh Puthur rose to fame in MI’s season opener against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Now it is the turn for the left-arm pacer Ashwani Kumar, who came into the limelight with his impressive IPL debut.
On March 31 (Monday), the 23-year-old’s record-breaking performance ripped apart the batting line-up of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in his blistering 3-over stint at the Wankhede Stadium, in Mumbai.
Moreover, Ashwani announced his arrival in style by claiming his first wicket in the first ball of his first match and went on to establish himself as the first Indian bowler to accomplish a 4-wicket haul in his IPL debut game.
